Look Who Got Dressed Today!

Yes, I hate to say it but today is the first day in a week (maybe a little longer) that I got up, got dressed, and did my hair and makeup. This is a big accomplishment lately as I just lack the motivation and energy. Since is my first post I figured I would write a big update for the whole family.

Bryan is still working out of town but we have been very fortunate lately as he has been coming home midweek and working from home one day. We have all enjoyed seeing Daddy more!

Austin just turned 13 a few weeks ago and is such a great help to his tired Momma. He is currently involved with 4-H Shooting Sports and Young Guns Wrestling and really enjoys them both. No girlfriends (thank goodness) although I see them in the near future...he already was asked to the Valentine's Day dance at school but politely told the young lady he wouldn't be attending.

Logan is 7 and enjoying the second grade. He is doing exceptionally well and has gotten quite a few advanced scores this last quarter. This makes me very proud considering the daily fight we go through to just get to school :) This is Logan's second year in Cub Scouts and he is currently working on his Wolf badge.

Dyllan turned 1 a few weeks ago and is becoming quite the inquisitive toddler. She started walking shortly before her birthday and I swear she said "butt" this morning haha. She has been steadily teething and we are currently working on our 4th molar...yuck. At her recent check up she was off the charts for her height and pretty close for weight so she is going to be a tall girl.

And now for me and the twins! I have to say that I am very thankful for this blessing even though I may complain a teeny bit haha. I am currently trying to gain 40 lbs and after loosing about 12, I have only managed to gain 4 back. Gaining the weight is easier said than done this time around. In December we went to Billings and had a huge ultrasound done and found that both babies have their own placenta so my risk dropped significantly! The last full baby measurements from a few weeks ago showed that both babies were measuring about a week ahead of schedule so we may end up with some big ones, which is my goal. My ultrasound a couple days ago confirmed a boy and a girl and my baby bump measured 24 weeks. So that means that my 19 week bump is the size of a 24 week bump which is to be expected with twins. I was also informed that my uterus also "thinks" it is 24 weeks so we already have a lot of painful ligament stretching and braxton hicks contractions. I am constantly amazed at the changes taking place...and my husband is too. Last week he says in awe, "wow, you definitely got bigger in the last two days." Most ladies might take offense but I had to agree and my sister did too.

Now that we are fully updated, I will update more frequently so you won't have to read a book :).  Have a great day and a fabulous upcoming weekend!
